Prologis Park East Midlands Interchange

Prologis, in partnership with Manchester Airport Group (MAG), is progressing plans to create an industrial logistics and advanced manufacturing park near East Midlands Airport, following MAG's planning submission in May 2024. This website is to keep our partners and the community informed of our proposals.

Welcome to Prologis Park East Midlands Interchange

Our proposed new park, which will be known as Prologis Park East Midlands Interchange, is a designated East Midlands Freeport tax site which will stimulate economic growth, investment and employment in the region, helping to unlock £1 billion of investment in and around the airport.

Working together, Prologis and MAG are designing a modern, sustainable advanced manufacturing and industrial logistics park which provides space for a wide range of businesses; including those in growth sectors such as life sciences and advanced manufacturing, identified in the Government’s Modern Industrial Strategy, as well as critical infrastructure for traditional logistics and the supply chain.

In addition to providing units of varying sizes to accommodate a range of businesses, including some in industrial logistics who need space to grow within the Leicestershire area, the proposal also contains plans for the delivery of a new, on-site education and training centre. Part of the already successful Prologis Warehousing & Logistics Training Programme (PWLTP), the dedicated training centre will provide people in the East Midlands region with access to fully funded skills training, helping them secure employment in the industrial logistics sector.
